Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will drive growth initiatives for iRage by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our product and service offerings to institutions, brokers, exchanges, and fintech partners. You will play a pivotal role in shaping go-to-market strategies and enhancing client engagement in a fast-paced, tech-driven trading ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across algorithmic trading services, proprietary trading technology, and infrastructure solutions.

  • Build and manage relationships with brokers, exchanges, institutional clients, and fintech partners.

  • Understand the landscape of HFT, algo trading regulations, and trading infrastructure in India and globally.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor analysis, and strategic insights.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Tech, Product, Legal, Operations) to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

  • Represent iRage at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

  • Track and report on sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and business KPIs.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations.

  • Support strategic initiatives including partnerships, product expansion, and regulatory outreach.

RequirementsMust-Have:
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or strategic partnerships in fintech, capital markets, or trading technology.

  • Deep understanding of trading ecosystems, financial instruments, market participants, and regulatory environment (SEBI, exchanges, etc.).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and financial metrics.

  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have:
  • Prior experience working with algo trading desks, brokers, exchanges, or trading software providers.

  • Knowledge of APIs, FIX protocols, low-latency networks, co-location, or similar trading technologies.

  • MBA or postgraduate degree in finance, engineering, economics, or business.
