About the Role: The Trader Segment Mandate
As a Head Of Product at InCred Money, you will be a critical leader responsible for owning the strategy, development, and growth of our product offerings specifically targeting the active trader segment, with a deep focus on Futures & Options (F&O) and other trading instruments. This role requires a blend of strategic market understanding, product execution expertise, and a genuine passion for the nuances of financial trading. Your primary mandate will be to define and deliver a world-class, high-performance, and compliant trading platform that meets the sophisticated needs of professional and active retail traders, driving trading volume and market share for InCred Money.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision: Define the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the trader-focused product suite, with a primary emphasis on Futures & Options (F&O), margin trading, and advanced order types.
Domain Expertise & Execution: Deeply understand the specific workflows, pain points, and feature needs of the active trader (e.g., charting tools, low- latency execution, real-time data feeds, risk management features). Translate these needs into clear, actionable product requirements and user stories.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the product owner, working closely with Engineering, Design, Risk, Compliance, and Business Development teams to manage the product development lifecycle from ideation through launch and post-launch iteration.
Business & Financial Acumen: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the trader segment (e.g., trading volume, order conversion rate, active trader count, revenue per user). Ensure the product strategy aligns with InCred Money's overall business goals.
Competitive Analysis & Market Insights: Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the trading and brokerage space to identify opportunities for differentiation and market leadership.
User Research & Feedback: Establish strong feedback loops with active traders through interviews, surveys, and usage data analysis to ensure the product consistently delivers exceptional value and a high-trust experience.
Operational Excellence: Oversee the efficient rollout of new features and products, ensuring clarity in documentation, training for internal teams, and seamless integration with existing systems.
Required Skills and Experience
Total Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in Product Management, with at least 4+ years specifically managing products within the Fintech, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets domain.
Domain Specialization (highly desired): Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the active trader segment and financial instruments, particularly Futures & Options (F&O), Listed Equities, and advanced trading platforms.
Product Management Expertise: Proven success in defining, developing, and launching complex digital products in an agile environment.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, understanding technical trade-offs, scalability issues, and API integrations for high-volume, low-latency applications.
Communication & Leadership: Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Location: Mumbai (Full time Mon-Friday in office)
