Job Brief:

As the HR Manager for India, you will be responsible for overseeing all end-to-end HR operations within the country with the help of one HR Executive reporting to you. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing HR strategies in alignment with the company's objectives. Reporting directly to the CEO and the Country Head, you will be the key point of contact for all HR-related matters in India. Additionally, you will collaborate with the global HR team to drive and implement global HR initiatives, providing a unique opportunity to expand your expertise in global HR practices.

Job Description:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives, ensuring a high-performing and engaged workforce.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by handling employee relations matters, resolving conflicts, and promoting open communication channels. Ensure employee satisfaction and engagement in India.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Aid the global recruitment team in their efforts while implementing retention strategies to attract, source, interview, onboard and retain top talent locally.
  • Performance Management: Aid the global performance management lead to implement performance management systems and processes that ensure fair and transparent evaluation of employee performance and facilitate career development opportunities.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness in the market and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Compliance and Legal: Stay updated on employment laws and regulations in India, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
  • HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights and recommendations for improving HR processes and decision-making.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Ensure smooth and efficient onboarding and offboarding processes, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle to ensure an impeccable employee experience.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, develop training programs, and coordinate learning initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Global HR Initiatives: Collaborate with the global HR team to drive and implement global HR initiatives, contributing to the development of consistent HR practices across the organization.
  • Team Management: Provide leadership and guidance to one HR Executive in India, fostering their professional growth and development.

Job Specification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR management, with a strong understanding of HR practices in India.
  • Experience in collaborating with global HR teams and managing global HR initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing HR operations and driving organizational change.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
