Build, maintain, and design backend microservices and data systems using Python/Golang. Fix defects, reduce tech debt, improve architecture for robustness, security, and performance. Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and payment processes, including invoice review, approvals, payment initiation, vendor reconciliations, AP ageing, cash forecasting, liquidity management, international payments, FX, and intercompany transactions. Maintain financial controls, support budget visibility and reporting, resolve discrepancies, and improve treasury and AP workflows across Wahed’s international entities.

Conduct KYB due diligence on prospective and existing vendors, assess documentation and risk, maintain accurate Vendor Master records, track criticality and agreement statuses, and coordinate with compliance, legal, managers, and vendors. The role also supports documentation requests, monthly compliance rectifications, and vendor renewal, renegotiation, or termination processes while completing reviews within one to two business days.

Prepares group consolidations, entity books, financial statements, budgets, forecasts, regulatory filings, and management reporting under US GAAP. Supports month-end and year-end close, technical accounting research, internal controls, audits, tax reporting, intercompany accounting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and accounting policy development. The role also improves accounting and MIS systems and presents financial insights to executives, stakeholders, and board members.

Support Group Risk Manager as a second-line risk analyst performing business and technology risk reviews, ITGC/ITAC testing, BCP/DR preparation, audit testing and follow-up, risk reporting, and developing risk controls, policies and data processes.

Build, maintain, and transition mobile application features across iOS and Android using React Native. Develop pixel-perfect interfaces, integrate native APIs, troubleshoot bugs and performance issues, write automated tests, manage dependencies and version control, and collaborate with backend and frontend teams on API specifications within an Agile environment.
