salary range:20k to 40k

- Manage the acquisition, cataloging, classification, and maintenance of library materials (books, journals, e-resources, multimedia, and digital databases).
- Implement and maintain library management systems (e.g., Koha, LibSys, or similar) to ensure efficient resource tracking and access.
- Provide reference and research assistance to students, faculty, and staff, including training in information retrieval and digital literacy.
- Develop and deliver information literacy workshops and orientation sessions for new students and faculty.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) or equivalent; Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc.) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a library setting, preferably within an educational institution or technical college.
- Proficiency in library management software (e.g., Koha, LibSys, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
