Seismic Consulting Group is seeking a highly creative and strategically minded Brand & Graphics Designer to shape, protect, and evolve the firm’s visual identity across all platforms and engagements.

This role is not limited to making visuals attractive. The Brand & Graphics Designer will translate ideas, evidence, policy insights, and institutional narratives into compelling visual communication that strengthens Seismic’s credibility as a top-tier development and management consulting firm. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and design, ensuring that every visual output reinforces trust, professionalism, and impact.

Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Identity & Visual Strategy
  • Uphold and consistently apply Seismic Consulting Group’s brand identity across all internal and external materials.

  • Refine and evolve the brand’s visual language to reflect Seismic’s growth, sectoral depth, and consulting excellence.

  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines, templates, and visual standards.

2. Graphic Design & Visual Production
  • Design high-quality visual assets including:

    • Corporate profiles and pitch decks

    • Technical and financial proposals

    • Reports, policy briefs, and executive summaries

    • Training manuals and learning materials

    • Infographics, charts, and visual narratives

  • Ensure clarity, hierarchy, and professional polish in all deliverables.

3. Strategic Communication Support
  • Work closely with consultants, researchers, and proposal teams to visually communicate complex ideas, data, and frameworks.

  • Translate abstract concepts, M&E results, and policy recommendations into accessible and persuasive visuals.

  • Support proposal development with visually compelling layouts that enhance readability and evaluator engagement.

4. Digital & Marketing Design
  • Design visual content for digital platforms, including:

    • Website assets and landing pages

    • Social media visuals and campaign creatives

    • Event branding, banners, and promotional materials

  • Ensure consistency across digital and print channels.

5. Collaboration & Quality Assurance
  • Collaborate with:

    • Communication & Branding unit

    • Research and Development teams

    • UI/UX designers and developers

  • Review and quality-assure all visual materials before release.

  • Manage multiple design requests while maintaining high standards and deadlines.

6. Creative Leadership & Innovation
  • Proactively suggest creative approaches to improve storytelling and brand presence.

  • Stay current with design trends, typography, layout systems, and visual storytelling best practices—while maintaining a conservative, consulting-appropriate aesthetic.

  • Help position Seismic as a visually credible and intellectually rigorous firm.



RequirementsRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.

  • 3–6 years of professional experience in brand design, corporate graphics, or strategic communications.

  • Proven experience designing for professional services, consulting firms, NGOs, or development organizationsis a strong advantage.

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating:

    • Brand consistency

    • Professional layout and typography

    • Conceptual thinking and visual storytelling

Design & Technical Skills
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Typography and layout systems

    • Visual hierarchy and information design

    • Color theory and brand coherence

  • Experience with PowerPoint, Google Slides, and proposal-heavy documents is essential.

  • Basic motion design or illustration skills are an advantage.

  • Ability to interpret complex content and convert it into clear visual messages.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy—especially in data-heavy documents.

  • Ability to work within brand constraints while still being creative.
