Design, implement, manage, and support enterprise firewall and network security solutions. Configure and maintain firewalls, enforce policies, monitor performance, perform upgrades and incident response, optimize rules, collaborate with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams, and maintain documentation for compliance.
We are looking for an experienced Firewall Engineer with 10+ years of experience to design, implement, manage, and support enterprise firewall and network security solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure network environments, implementing security policies, and ensuring the availability and performance of firewall infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise firewall solutions.
- Implement and enforce firewall security policies and access control rules.
- Monitor firewall performance and troubleshoot security or connectivity issues.
- Perform firewall upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
- Support network security operations and incident investigations.
- Review and optimize firewall rules to ensure compliance and security best practices.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams on security initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure firewall environments meet organizational security and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in firewall and network security administration.
- Strong understanding of enterprise firewall technologies.
- Experience implementing and managing network security policies.
- Good knowledge of network security principles and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Firewall vendor certifications.
- Experience with enterprise network environments.
- Knowledge of VPNs, NAT, and network segmentation.
