Manages correspondent bank, financial institution, and foreign portfolio investor relationships. Oversees treasury and liquidity operations, inter-bank lending, limit utilization, and ALM/ALCO alignment. Performs counterparty credit assessments, monitors exposures, prepares credit notes, and identifies risks. Ensures compliance with RBI, FEMA, sanctions, and internal policies while maintaining ISDA and GMRA documentation. Supports trade finance transactions, audits, business development, and strategic objectives across treasury products.
- The Manager - Financial Institutions Group (FIG) will be responsible for managing and deepening relationships with correspondent banks other financial institutions.
- The role further involves managing the Foreign Portfolio Investor (FPI) relationships by managing the end-to-end execution transactions of FPIs with specific focus on Trade finance transactions.
- The role involves supporting treasury operations through active participation in inter-bank markets, conducting credit analysis on FI counterparties, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- The incumbent will work closely with the Head – FIG to execute the department's strategic objectives across liquidity management, limit utilization, and business development.
- Manage and deepen relationships with banks, FIs and FPIs, acting as the primary contact to drive engagement, cross‑sell and grow wallet share across treasury products (term money, CDs, CPs, bonds, forex).
- Support daily treasury and liquidity operations including call money, TREPS/CBLO, repo and inter‑bank lending while ensuring optimal limit utilisation and ALM/ALCO alignment.
- Conduct counterparty credit assessments, prepare credit notes, monitor exposures and flag risks.
- Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA and internal policies, maintain ISDA/GMRA documentation and support audits.
- Build and manage correspondent banking and trade finance relationships, establish RMAs and trade lines, and structure FI/FPI trade transactions in line with regulatory, sanctions and policy frameworks.
Qualification: Graduate/ MBA in Finance/ CA
