The Finance Assistant at EisnerAmper is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing client invoices and ensuring adherence to billing policies and procedures. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

What work you will be responsible for:

Invoice Preparation & Processing:

  • Generate, review, and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Ensure invoices comply with client agreements and firm policies.

  • Maintain accurate billing records and documentation

  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or issues.

  • Review and verify accuracy of billing data and invoices.

  • Prepare reports and WIP analysis for management on billing performance and trends.

  • Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely billing and resolution of queries.

  • Maintain billing records and documentation in compliance with company policies.

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, project execution/order management team, client/engagement partners) to resolve billing-related issues as needed

Basic Qualification and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in Finance industry preferred

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and accounting software – Preferred e.g. SAP, NetSuite)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines during busy season
