We’re recruiting for a Assistant Finance Manager who will responsible for ensuring integrity of financial records and reports; deployment and maintenance of strong controls and compliance; facilitating efficient transaction processing; being a partner to the business providing information and analytical support, being accessible and available as a sounding board and raising constructive challenge; close involvement in forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning; influencing behaviours within and outside the finance function for continuous improvement

What you’ll do:
Ensuring accurate and proper financial accounting with periodic checks, scrutiny and reconciliation of the general ledger, sub-ledgers, fixed asset register, balance sheet schedules and related records
Ensuring that appropriate and effective processes, controls and procedures are in place and in compliance with group and regional policies.
Own month end closing process for the business to ensure that information requirements – area, regional and group – are met in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
Close involvement and ownership in the preparation of forecasts, annual budgets.
Monthly Balance Sheet forecast and reconciliations
Fixed asset management- Capex budget, Forecasting and monitoring actual spending
Management of receivables and inventory management.
Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
Treasury Management -Cash flow forecasting and Management
Ensuring adherence to and compliance with Direct and Indirect tax laws and filing requirements, Tax assessments etc.
Being available and accessible to the operational team in the business providing input and support and raising constructive challenge
Payroll administration includes contributions to social security, pensions and related filing etc.
End to end management of External audits, Internal audits, Tax audits, Transfer pricing compliances on yearly basis.
Influencing behaviors within and outside the finance function to ensure coordinated efforts for the growth and development of the business
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Professional accounting qualification
Minimum of 8-10 years PQ experience preferably with Manufacturing MNC’s
Strong accounting fundamentals and good knowledge of tax issues
Good analytical skills and commercial awareness
Excellent communication skills
