Supports trade and forex operations involving export, import, remittance, letters of credit, bank guarantees, and bill discounting. Reviews transaction documentation, verifies KYC, monitors regulatory compliance under FEMA, RBI, and ICC guidelines, processes EDPMS and IDPMS reporting, resolves customer discrepancies, tracks pending transactions, and maintains service, accuracy, and turnaround-time standards.
To support payment, trade and forex operations through review and evaluation of transaction activities, assessment of operational controls, identification of process exceptions and monitoring of regulatory compliance requirements. The role provides analytical inputs to support risk mitigation, service quality and operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities- Handle Trade and Forex operations, including export, import, remittance, Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG) and bill discounting transactions.
- Ensure compliance with internal trade policies, FEMA, RBI, and ICC guidelines while processing trade transactions.
- Coordinate with customers to resolve discrepancies and obtain required documentation for transaction processing.
- Follow up on customer requests, credit limit requirements, and pending trade transactions to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of trade transaction documentation and maintain First Time Right (FTR) standards.
- Provide prompt support to customers and address Trade and Forex-related queries.
- Process and monitor EDPMS and IDPMS reporting requirements within prescribed timelines.
- Track outstanding trade transactions and follow up for closure of pending items.
- Conduct KYC verification and customer due diligence in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain customer service standards, FTR ratios and TATs as per internal guidelines.
Experience Range: 1 to 3 years
Qualifications:
Graduation/ Post‑Graduation (Any specialization)
CDCS qualification preferable
