Perform financial account reconciliations, monitor compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements, investigate reconciliation breaks and ageing items, coordinate with auditors, maintain audit documentation, support closure of control gaps, and prepare MIS reports on outstanding items.
To ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of internal office accounts and other financial accounts in line with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and financial control standards.
Responsibilities- Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of internal office accounts.
- Ensure adherence to the Board-approved policy governing internal office accounts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines relating to internal office accounts.
- Monitor compliance with the supervisory framework and internal controls governing office accounts.
- Coordinate with Internal, Concurrent, and Statutory Auditors for reconciliation-related information and requirements.
- Follow up with relevant departments to ensure timely clearance of long-aged and outstanding entries.
- Prepare and review reconciliations of Other Assets and Other Liabilities accounts.
- Identify reconciliation breaks, unusual entries, and ageing items and facilitate timely resolution.
- Maintain appropriate supporting documents, reconciliation records, and audit trails.
- Support closure of audit observations and control gaps relating to internal office accounts and reconciliations.
- Prepare periodic MIS and status reports on outstanding and ageing reconciliation items.
Experience: 3 to 5 years
Qualifications: Commerce Graduate
