Job Purpose: Executive - Cargo Commercial & Business Development is responsible for focusing on specialized tasks that support the growth and enhancement of the airport's cargo services. This position involves detailed market research, the preparation of compelling proposals, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. The Executive's efforts are essential in support in identification of new business opportunities, aligning with strategic goals, and contributing to the operational success of the cargo department, all while operating independently.

Responsibilities

Opportunity Identification:

Execute focused research to support in identifying specific trends and opportunities in the aviation cargo market that can inform the business development strategy.

Analyze competitor strategies within the cargo sector to provide actionable insights for gaining a competitive edge.

Cargo Service Proposal Crafting and Presentation:

Prepare detailed proposals and presentations that showcase the benefits of new cargo services, ensuring alignment with the airport's strategic goals.

Ensure that all business development materials reflect the airport's brand and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential partners.

Logistics Coordination:

Serve as the dedicated point of contact for arranging and streamlining communication between the cargo business development team and external stakeholders.

Manage the detailed logistics of business development meetings, including scheduling, documentation preparation, and follow-up coordination.

Data Management and Reporting:

Maintain organized records of cargo business development activities, tracking client engagement and project milestones.

Generate accurate reports that reflect the current progress of cargo business development projects, supporting the team's strategic planning efforts.

Regulatory Compliance:

Regularly update knowledge on cargo industry regulations, trends, and emerging technologies to support informed business development activities.

Attend targeted industry events and workshops to deepen understanding of the cargo sector and to network with potential business partners.
