The role ensures inbound materials are received accurately, compliantly (as per E-Waste Management Rules and internal SOPs), and are made available to production with full traceability in the ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:1. Unloading & Receipt of Inbound Material

- Cross-check quantity, category, and description of e-waste received against PO/contract terms and statutory documentation.
- Flag and escalate discrepancies (short receipt, excess, wrong category, missing compliance documents) to the reporting manager before further processing.
3. Segregation

- Flag and escalate discrepancies (short receipt, excess, wrong category, missing compliance documents) to the reporting manager before further processing.
- Ensure hazardous and non-hazardous items are segregated and stored separately to maintain compliance and safety.
4. Goods Receipt Note (GRN)
- Prepare and process GRN for all inbound material against PO/challan, capturing accurate quantity, weight, and category details.
- Ensure GRN is raised only after successful documentation verification and physical/quantity checks.
5. Bar Coding & Palletization
- Generate and affix barcode labels on received lots/pallets/bins for traceability across the warehouse and production stages.
- Palletize segregated material as per storage and handling standards, ensuring stability, space optimization, and ease of movement.
6. ERP Upload & System Entry
- Accurately upload GRN, material category, quantity/weight, batch/lot, and barcode data into the ERP system on a real-time basis.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure system stock reflects true physical stock at all times; support periodic stock reconciliation and audits.
7. Put-Away to Store
- Put away barcoded/palletized material to designated storage locations/bins as per warehouse layout and FIFO/FEFO norms.
- Update bin/location mapping in the ERP to ensure accurate, retrievable storage records.
8. Material Transfer (Store to Production)
- Process material issue/transfer requests from production/dismantling lines, ensuring accurate ERP-based stock transfer entries.
- Coordinate timely material movement from store to production to avoid line stoppages, while maintaining traceability and documentation.
9. Compliance, Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols applicable to hazardous/e-waste handling, including PPE usage.
- Maintain 5S/housekeeping standards in the receiving and storage areas; support internal and statutory audits (PCB, CPCB, EPR audits).
