We are looking for a high caliber professional to join the Engagement Practice team as an Engagement Project Manager (AVP/C12) based in Mumbai. The incumbent will work with key internal and external stakeholders including senior leaders, co-chairs of employee resource groups (ERGs) and external thought leaders across Asia, Australia, Middle East and Africa.

The Engagement Project Manager is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within their own field and contributes to directional strategy by applying their expertise to craft relevant solutions for the franchise. They will be recognized as the subject matter expert (SME) for their coverage area which will include two or more of the dimensions of inclusion shared above as well as geographic/ business coverage and ownership for key external partnerships. The role requires basic commercial awareness, excellent communication, creative thinking, diplomacy skills and the ability to lead through influence to guide, and convince others, in particular colleagues outside of their immediate team.
Job Summary:
Engagement Project Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing Citi’s Engagement/Inclusion strategy. The incumbent will collaborate with various stakeholders to create and review business plans, measure progress, manage and monitor budgets, and ensure alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives and governance requirements. The incumbent will work closely with ERG/ Citi Inclusion Network Leaders, the Network Program Manager and Global Talent Management and Engagement team to ensure smooth governance. Additionally, they will need to partner with CHROs / Citi Country Officers and their teams for the geographies in their coverage areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guides and partners closely with the ERGs/ Citi Inclusion Networks on their business planning/ review, budget allocations/ monitoring and communications processes.
- Collaborate with the Global Engagement team and local ERGs/Citi Inclusion Networks to craft a meaningful strategy/ agree key priority for Citi Inclusion Networks in Asia, Australia, Middle East and Africa.
- Drive key Inclusion linked programs aimed at education, awareness, knowledge building, allyship, etc. across the Asia, Australia, Middle East and Africa.
- Partner with senior stakeholders who lead on the dimensions of Inclusion to drive a meaningful agenda in Asia, Australia, Middle East and Africa.
- Anchor and lead on Heritage Month Celebrations across Asia, Australia, Middle East and Africa.
- Responsible for Regulatory Reporting as needed in the coverage areas assigned.
- Analyzes and reports insights that inform leadership decisions, team priorities, and program execution.
- Engages and partners with relevant external SME organizations that can serve as thought partners and sources of Inclusion best practices, tools and resources.
- Design strategies, tools, programs to address Inclusion challenges and align with goals and benchmarks.
- Report generation for effective tracking and reporting on ROI of Inclusion programs and initiatives.
- Creates effective communication channels (example Quarterly Cluster level meetings) to drive engagement and action, in partnership with stakeholders.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition/ Early Career Programs / other HR disciples as needed to to inform Inclusion initiatives and progress for external benchmarking exercises, candidate self-ID initiatives and regulatory reporting.
- Leverages AI in a balanced manner to optimize solutions and increase efficiency.
Qualifications/ Skills:
- 3 to 7 years of relevant HR experience.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on MS Excel and MS Power Point.
- Ability to leverage AI will be a real advantage.
- Ability and willingness to partner with global and cluster stakeholders across which involves working across several time-zones.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Understanding budgeting and financial management principles is good to have.
- Strong organizational and project management skills will be an additional advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization and in a global team within.
- Ability to navigate a complex, matrixed, global organization will be an advantage
- Experience with/ exposure to/ passion for Inclusion initiatives is highly desirable.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.
