Job Description

In this customer-facing sales role, you will liaise and build relationships with our customers executive management teams to meet or exceed allocated sales target across a broad range of industrial software, power control and process control solutions. Your competitive advantage and success will be achieved by using Rockwell Automation's important areas of innovation and difference, our Smart Manufacturing – Industry 4.0 – technologies such as Augmented Reality, the best IIoT platforms, Advanced Analytics, MES solutions and our Connected Enterprise integrated architecture.

You will report to Sam-Eu-Lead - Life Sciences and follow a hybrid working schedule in Hyderabad, India.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and using market intelligence.
  • Conduct client meetings and collaboration with our teams and partners to refine messaging and offerings
  • Work with our teams (Sales, BU's, Marketing, and extended ecosystem distributors and SI's) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services to clients.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract/ Solution negotiation and closing
  • Establish relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at target accounts.
  • Stay current on life sciences automation trends, regulatory requirements and Automation technologies
  • Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, forecasts, and customer interactions in CRM systems

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering- Electronics/ Instrumentation/ IT or a related discipline
  • Prior experience from 8-10 years in industrial sales with focus on new business development
  • Understanding of Life science industry's Automation & digital solutions will be an added advantage

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Familiarity of related products will be an added advantage
  • Eagerness and full of drive to secure new accounts
