  • Build and manage the annual e-commerce budget and P&L, including ad spend, marketplace fees, fulfilment costs and promotions.
  • Set pricing, promotional calendars and channel-wise assortment to balance growth with profitability.

  • Manage and grow seller accounts on Amazon UK & EU (Seller Central/Vendor Central), eBay UK & EU, Etsy and Galaxus.
  • Identify, evaluate and onboard new marketplaces as needed.
  • Build and manage Brand Registry, Amazon Brand Store and storefronts on each marketplace, including bundles, multipacks and Subscribe & Save.

Advertising and growth

  • Plan, execute and optimise marketplace advertising (Amazon Sponsored Products, Brands and Display; eBay Promoted Listings; Etsy Ads) within agreed ACoS/TACoS and ROAS targets.
  • Use deals, coupons, Lightning Deals, Prime Day and Vine to drive trial, reviews and repeat purchase; run external traffic to marketplace listings via Meta, TikTok and Google where it pays back.

Operations and compliance

  • Coordinate with the UK office, FBA and 3PL partners on inbound shipments, stock synchronization and timely dispatch.
  • Ensure food listings meet UK and EU rules: FSA guidance, EU FIC (Regulation 1169/2011) labelling, allergen declarations for nuts and seeds, nutrition and health claims, and HFSS advertising restrictions in the UK.
  • Maintain compliance with marketplace policies, GDPR, consumer law, VAT/OSS and returns policies.
  • Keep customer service, account health and seller ratings at high standards across every channel.

Team leadership and reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly dashboards on sales, margins, ad performance and inventory for leadership.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or Operations (or equivalent).
  • MBA preferred, ideally in Marketing, E-Commerce or International Business.
  • Certifications in Amazon Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) or Digital Marketing are a plus.

Experience Skills

  • 5–10 years in e-commerce, with a proven record of managing online sales in UK and EU markets. This is a non-negotiable.
  • Hands-on experience selling on major marketplaces: Amazon UK & EU, eBay, Etsy and Galaxus; exposure to Bol.com, Kaufland or similar is a plus.

  • Experience launching a brand on new marketplaces, from account setup and compliance to first-sale and scale-up.
  • Category experience in food, snacks, FMCG or health foods; working knowledge of food labelling, allergen and shelf-life requirements.
  • Strong grasp of UK and EU consumer insights: shopper behaviour, snacking trends, price sensitivity, seasonality and competitive landscape, with experience turning data and reviews into product and listing decisions.
  • Proficiency with Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central, eBay Seller Hub, Etsy Shop Manager, Amazon Ads, Amazon Brand Analytics.
  • Comfort with multi-currency transactions, VAT/OSS reconciliation and marketplace fee structures.
