JOB PURPOSE
Build learning-in-the-flow-of-work systems that accelerate workforce performance and enable business transformation across APJC.
Translate strategic priorities, organizational shifts, and capability gaps into scalable learning and performance solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Lead the design and deployment of integrated learning experiences that connect skills to real work, enabling teams to outlearn, adapt, and outperform in a rapidly evolving business environment.
SCOPE
- Regional responsibility for workforce learning strategy, design, and deployment across APJC (30% global design / 70% regional execution).
- Translate business priorities (growth, cost optimisation, operating model evolution) into capability-building strategies and learning solutions.
- Partner with HR, business leaders, and global teams to align workforce capability with strategic outcomes.
- Support business transformation initiatives through targeted learning, adoption, and performance enablement programs.
- Lead and develop a team of learning specialists and production resources to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions.
- Oversee external vendors and partners to ensure quality, innovation, and scalability.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Learning Strategy & Workforce Capability
- Define and implement an APJC workforce learning and capability strategy aligned to business priorities.
- Translate business strategy, operating model shifts, and workforce plans into capability roadmaps and learning interventions.
- Diagnose performance gaps using data, stakeholder insight, and organizational context — not just traditional learning needs analysis.
- Ensure alignment of learning initiatives with company values, leadership commitments, and culture.
2. Content Development & Experience Design
- Oversee the creation of high-impact learning content across formats (live, digital, social, and experiential).
- Ensure content supports critical business priorities, including new roles, ways of working, and leadership expectations.
- Set standards for instructional design, storytelling, and learner experience consistency across the region.
- Integrate modern learning approaches (learning in the flow of work, simulations, social learning, AI-enabled learning).
3. Experience Delivery & Adoption
- Ensure learning experiences are engaging, accessible, and embedded across platforms (LMS/LXP, events, and media channels).
- Drive learner engagement through campaigns, community-based learning, and internal communications.
- Enable adoption of new ways of working through structured learning journeys, leadership alignment, and behavioral interventions.
- Partner with leaders to embed learning into day-to-day work and performance.
4. Measurement, Insights & Performance Impact
- Establish clear links between learning outcomes and business performance metrics (e.g., productivity, growth, cost efficiency, engagement).
- Monitor effectiveness through analytics, learner feedback, and business impact measures.
- Use insights to continuously improve learning design and inform broader workforce and organisational decisions.
- Build a data-driven culture of learning effectiveness and ROI.
5. Workforce Transformation Enablement
- Partner with HR and business leaders to support workforce transformation initiatives through capability building and adoption strategies.
- Translate organizational changes (e.g., new structures, roles, or business models) into targeted learning and enablement programs.
- Support integration and transition initiatives through structured capability development and communication strategies.
- Contribute to workforce planning by identifying critical skills, future capability needs, and development pathways.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of experience in learning, leadership development, talent strategy, or workforce transformation with enterprise-level impact.
- Experience in strategy consulting, HR transformation, or advisory roles is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of workforce capability frameworks, leadership development, and performance enablement.
- Experience operating in complex, global, matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into practical, scalable workforce and capability solutions.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation or organizational change initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership levels.
