As a Digital Workplace & Microsoft 365 Third Line Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and continuous improvement of Arxada’s Digital Workplace ecosystem. Acting as a senior technical escalation point, you will lead the resolution of complex cross‑platform issues and drive sustainable service improvements across Microsoft 365 and identity services.
Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you will partner closely with teams across Identity & Access Management, End User Computing, Security, and Infrastructure to deliver seamless and secure user experiences. Essential Job Functions:
- Provide third-line support for complex Microsoft 365 and Digital Workplace incidents, acting as the escalation point for high-impact issues
- Lead problem management activities, including root cause analysis, trend identification, and implementation of permanent fixes
- Administer, maintain, and optimise Microsoft 365 services, ensuring stability, performance, and service health
- Investigate and resolve cross-platform issues across identity, device compliance, access controls, collaboration tools, and endpoint management
- Manage and enhance identity and access services (Entra ID and Active Directory), including authentication, RBAC, and lifecycle processes
- Implement and support security, compliance, and governance controls including Conditional Access, MFA, DLP, and audit policies
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and related tools
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex issues and improve service delivery
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5 years experience in a third-line or senior support role within Microsoft 365 and Digital Workplace environments
- Strong hands-on expertise in Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, and Entra ID
- Broad understanding of Active Directory, IAM, endpoint management, security, and infrastructure services
- Demonstrated experience managing identity and access controls such as MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, and privileged access
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and reducing recurring incidents
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, governance, and Zero Trust principles
- Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, with awareness of ITIL-based service management
