Lead end-to-end web and intranet design using Figma, build and maintain a scalable design system, create responsive accessible front-end interfaces, manage CMS/intranet structures, and embed AI-augmented workflows to accelerate prototyping and handoff while partnering with digitization and stakeholders.
Role Purpose
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong Digital Design and Web Experience Analysis capabilities to design, develop and enhance modern web portals, transactional applications, corporate websites and intranet platforms.
The role will combine full-stack development, digital experience, UI/UX thinking and AI-assisted development, working closely with IT, Digitization and Corporate Affairs teams to deliver secure, scalable and engaging digital solutions.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking a requirement from concept and user experience through design, development, integration, testing and deployment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full-Stack Web Development
- Design, develop and maintain responsive web portals, websites and intranet applications.
- Develop both frontend and backend components, ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability.
- Build reusable components, APIs and services to support digital applications.
- Integrate applications with enterprise systems, third-party platforms and data sources.
- Implement authentication, authorization, security and appropriate data protection practices.
- Troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing web applications.
Digital Design & Web Experience
- Translate business requirements into intuitive and user-centric digital experiences.
- Apply UI/UX principles, responsive design, accessibility and modern web design standards.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes and design concepts where required.
- Analyze existing digital journeys and identify opportunities to improve usability, navigation, engagement and conversion.
- Work with Corporate Affairs and Digitization teams to ensure consistency with corporate branding and digital standards.
- Contribute to information architecture, design systems and reusable UI patterns.
AI-Based Development
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate design, coding, testing, documentation and troubleshooting.
- Explore and implement AI-enabled capabilities within web applications and digital platforms.
- Evaluate emerging AI development frameworks, tools and approaches for practical business use cases.
- Support responsible and secure adoption of AI in application development.
APIs, Platforms & Deployment
- Design and consume RESTful APIs and other web services.
- Work with modern web frameworks, content management systems and digital experience platforms.
- Develop integrations between web applications and enterprise applications.
- Participate in CI/CD, source control, build and deployment processes.
- Deploy and support applications across cloud and enterprise environments.
- Monitor application performance and resolve production issues.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with IT, Digitization, Corporate Affairs, business stakeholders and external partners.
- Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, technical discussions and architecture reviews.
- Convert business and design requirements into technically feasible solutions.
- Contribute to technical documentation, coding standards and development best practices.
- Support testing, UAT, production deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
Required Skills and Experience
Technical Skills
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript and React or equivalent frameworks.
- Good experience with backend development using technologies such as Node.js, .NET, Java or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, JSON, authentication and API integration.
- Experience with modern web frameworks and digital platforms.
- Experience developing web portals, corporate websites, intranets or customer-facing digital applications.
- Good understanding of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility and web performance.
- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience with cloud-based application development and deployment, preferably Azure or equivalent.
- Knowledge of databases, data modelling and SQL/NoSQL technologies.
Digital Design & Experience
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles, information architecture and user journey design.
- Ability to interpret or create wireframes, prototypes, layouts and design specifications.
- Experience with tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or equivalent is preferred.
- Understanding of design systems, accessibility and responsive design.
- Ability to analyze web analytics and user behaviour to identify digital experience improvements is an advantage.
AI & Emerging Technologies
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code or equivalent.
- Understanding of AI/LLM capabilities and their application in web development is preferred.
- Experience integrating AI services/APIs into applications will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt emerging development technologies.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications in web development, cloud, UI/UX, AI or digital technologies would be an advantage.
