  • Responsible for preparation of Financial Statements and Review of Trial Balance and ensuring timely month end closure (Tech Close) and Financial Reporting to the Corporate.
  • Manages Overall accounting functions including maintenance of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, CAPEX (Fixed Assets), payroll, ensuring 100% accuracy and adhering to the timeliness.
  • Responsible for all the transactional activities of the Direct tax such as handling Tax Audit, Transfer pricing audit, Corporate Income tax return Filing, Master filing submissions and monthly workings/Payments such as TDS, TCS, Quarterly Advance Tax etc.
  • Preparation of Schedules and Supporting required for handling the Tax Audit (Form 3CD) and compilation of Form 3CEB.
  • Overseeing and coordinating the activities of internal / statutory auditors and timely completion of Statutory audit and Internal Audit.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. and Indian GAAP accounting Standards.
  • Responsible for all tasks associated with the maintenance of tax records.
  • Responsible for all the transactional activities from GST compliance point of view for various states for the company.
  • Responsible for Monthly GST liability for various states, ensure timely payment of the tax.
  • Gathers tax information required to prepare tax returns and and timely filing of GSTR1, GST3B etc.
  • Compiles the data required for the GST audit and assessments.
  • Responds to questions and requests on tax related information from internal departments/vendors/customers.
  • Provides documents/records for various tax assessment with various tax government authorities including CST and VAT assessments for earlier years.
  • Gathers tax information required for filing requirement of Master file in India under CbcR reporting requirement.
  • Analyses and delivers reports of expenditure for projects on a regular basis (or as and when required) to Management and Stakeholders. Supporting the business heads in their queries related to expenses.
  • Responsible for overall vendor management.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Company, external parties like auditors/vendors to meet information needs and to ensure that proper information is maintained for historical purposes.
  • Working on new initiatives/projects including automations in SAP.
  • Developing and maintaining finance and accounting policies in alignment with statutory requirements and systems of internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the organization.
  • Supervises and directs the activities of the team that is involved in General Accounting Function.
  • Lead the analysis of business expenditures and identify areas for cost optimization and improvement.
  • Conducting research on matters related to taxation (from internal and external sources), understanding and analyzing the impact of changes in Direct and Indirect Tax Laws (if any) and convey changes within the Organization accordingly.
  • Responsible for Company Secretarial Matters including Board Resolutions /Power of Attorney, ROC Filings and maintaining Secretarial Records and Registers like Minutes of Board Meeting and Annual General Meeting.
