Design and secure cloud networks, implement zero-trust service mesh on Kubernetes, containerize and orchestrate services on EKS/GKE, build CI/CD and deployment platforms, enable CDN and blue-green frontend deployments, implement API gateway, HA and backup strategies with RTO/RPO, deploy observability and SLO dashboards, and create runbooks, incident response, and post-mortem processes to improve reliability.
o Design VPC segmentation, security groups, and firewall rules for proper network isolation.
o Implement zero-trust security model with service mesh on Kubernetes.
o Build a unified deployment platform for polyglot backends (Java, PHP, Python for AI/ML).
o Containerize services and orchestrate via EKS/GKE.
o Enable independent frontend deployments with CDN integration and blue-green strategies.
o Implement API gateway for traffic management and cross-service communication.
o Establish backup strategies with tested, documented RTO/RPO targets.
o Configure HA for databases and critical services with automatic failover.
o Implement rate limiting, throttling, and circuit breakers.
o Deploy full observability stack: metrics, logs, traces.
o Build actionable dashboards with SLA/SLO tracking.
o Create runbooks, incident response procedures, and drive post-mortem culture.
Requirements
o 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, with 2+ years senior-level.
o Strong AWS expertise with hands-on IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation).
o Deep Kubernetes and Docker knowledge at scale.
o CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI preferred; ArgoCD a plus).
o Track record of improving reliability, reducing MTTR, and maintaining 99.9%+ uptime.
o Enterprise compliance experience (SOC 2, ISO 27001) is a strong plus.
o Meticulous with an eye for detail.
