Analyzes and improves demand forecasts using OMP at the item, week, and location level. Manages promotions, seasonality, volatility, forecast bias, and demand-sensing metrics while ensuring data integrity. Partners with supply planning, logistics, marketing, and other stakeholders to improve service levels, reduce inventory and costs, and enhance capital utilization. Supports forecasting process improvements and related projects.

OVERVIEW
The fundamental purpose is to drive improvement in forecast accuracy by optimizing the OMP statistical forecasting technologies, continuously improve the forecasting process, provide insights to the business partners (logistics and marketing division) to enhance business decisions and to support optimal service level.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- 30% of Time - Reviewing forecast and managing splits at an Item/Week/Location level in OMP for rolling 5 months considering customer promotions management on complex desks with higher volatility, profitability. Manage seasonality & volatility with complex merch / rotations in Forecast considering business constraints.
- 30% of Time - Analysis, Actions and reporting on key performance metrics such as forecast error, Trends, Bias, and Demand sensing and collaborating with Supply Planning teams to help achieve business KPI’s.
- 20% of Time - Partner with Cross functional stakeholder to deliver actionable insights the company can use to reduce inventory, lower costs and improve capital asset utilization.
- 15% of Time - Ensure data integrity in OMP at the item/location/week level across defined Customer channels. Leverage existing exception management reporting tools to drive improvement in forecast accuracy.
- 5% of Time - Drive continuous improvement by examining existing OMP forecasting tools and processes and making improvements. Support projects and other efforts focused towards improving forecast accuracy and techniques.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Full-time graduation from an accredited university (mandatory).
- Experience: 2 years of related experience.
- Technical Skills: Supply chain planning systems expertise, preferably OMP. End-to-end understanding of supply chain processes. Good understanding of demand planning processes. Good statistical forecasting acumen.
- Soft Skills: Good interpersonal skills, Ability to influence without power. Integrity and team player mindset. Learning agility, Effective communication, Learning mindset
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree - Major area of study in Operations.
- 3 years of related experience
- Professional certifications such as CSCMP or APICS.
- Excel, knowledge in ERP, and familiarity with functional package – OMP
