Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Bangalore

Impact & contribution:
Reduce the deployment time of model by utilising advance tools and technology. In this role you’ll assist execution of strategic initiatives to improve team effectiveness and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- 4+ years’ experience in IT industry strong data-warehouse and ETL - Ab Initio background, along with hands on technical & lead skills required.
- Expertise Knowledge on python programming
- Excellent grasp on all Components of Ab Initio - GDE and usage of Conduct>IT (Plans) OR any other ETL Tools
- Good experience in various Ab-initio parallelism techniques.
- Knowledge on Ab Initio AIR commands and m commands and unix shell scripting.
- Knowledge of any database such Oracle, Teradata, etc.
- Must have knowledge on data warehousing concepts, knowledge on data modelling.
- Drive the architecture of a project, including authoring functional and design specifications, scalability, testing, quality data flow, and interface.
- Ability to lead and manage team and interact with end users clients. Worked in Onsite/ Offshore model.
- Proficient in creating documentation related to design documents, Unit testing, handover and walk-through documents.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills along with excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills.
- Desire to take ownership and run the show end to end. Comfortable working with remote teams.
- Credit Risk domain is desirable
Essential Skills:
- Working experience in Ab Initio BRE Business Rule Environment or ACE Application Configuration Environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Jira and Confluence highly desirable.
- DevOps framework setup/execution activity.
- Demonstrate initiative by identifying inefficiencies and able to recommend improvements.
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
