Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to provide leadership, process expertise, and technical guidance in designing and evolving enterprise data solutions. This role will define and direct changes in business processes, database technologies, and data warehouse solutions while collaborating with application architects and business leaders across the Technology and Product organization (TAP). The Data Architect will work independently to drive improvements in data architecture, reporting capabilities, analytics, and overall business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead changes in business processes, database architecture, and data warehouse technologies.

• Design and implement scalable, resilient database solutions using PostgreSQL and SQL Server.

• Lead database resiliency, disaster recovery, and failover initiatives.

• Develop and maintain enterprise data models and Data Lake architectures.

• Collaborate with application architects, Directors, and Senior Managers across Customer Care, Product, and Technology domains.

• Provide subject matter expertise in data architecture, reporting, analytics, and process optimization.

• Lead cross-functional projects and technology initiatives across the Technology and Product organization (TAP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with 2+ years of experience as a Data Architect.

• 7+ years of experience with database resiliency, disaster recovery techniques, and failover capabilities.

• Hands-on experience with Database Architecture, Data Modeling, AWS, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise database and data warehouse solutions at an Architect level.

• Experience with Data Lake technologies and proficiency in Power BI.

• Familiarity with at least one of the following data platform technologies is preferred: Astronomer, dbt, or AWS MWAA.

• Experience with Data Analytics and reporting solutions is a plus.
