Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Data Analytics Manager to join our growing Data & AI practice in Mumbai. This is a client-facing leadership role responsible for delivering high-impact analytics solutions across multiple client engagements while leading and developing a team of Data Analysts.
In this role, you will own a portfolio of client engagements, partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions. You will oversee end-to-end analytics delivery, ensure the highest standards of quality and governance, and provide strategic guidance to clients while balancing multiple priorities across projects.
You will lead a team of Data Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and delivery excellence. Combining strong technical expertise with consulting and people leadership skills, you will drive successful project outcomes, mentor team members, and contribute to the growth of Sia's Data & AI consulting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the successful delivery of analytics initiatives across multiple client portfolios, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for analytics engagements and translating business requirements into actionable data solutions.
Manage multiple concurrent projects by defining scope, estimating effort, allocating resources, and proactively managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 8 Data Analysts through coaching, performance management, career development, and continuous technical upskilling.
Provide technical leadership across Power BI, SQL, data modelling, and business intelligence solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices, governance standards, and scalable solution design.
Oversee the design, development, validation, and deployment of dashboards, reports, semantic models, and analytics solutions that enable informed business decision-making.
Collaborate with Data Engineers and client technology teams to ensure reliable data pipelines, efficient ETL processes, and high-quality data for reporting and analytics.
Establish and maintain standards for documentation, testing, data quality, report governance, and production readiness across all analytics deliverables.
Present analytical insights and strategic recommendations to senior business stakeholders and executive leadership in a clear and business-focused manner.
Drive continuous improvement across analytics delivery by implementing best practices, promoting innovation, and identifying opportunities to expand analytics capabilities within existing client engagements.
Support business development activities by contributing to solution design, client proposals, and identifying opportunities for additional analytics services within client accounts.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or consulting, with prior team management experience.
- Strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, data modelling, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Proven experience managing client-facing analytics projects and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Experience leading and mentoring a team of Data Analysts.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data quality, governance, and BI best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, risks, and delivery timelines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and consulting skills.
- Experience working with Data Engineers, technology teams, and business users.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms or advanced analytics tools is a plus.
