- Plan and conduct Data Discovery phase
- Discovers and elicits business and data requirements
- Assists the Product Owner in iteration/release planning and prioritization of the backlog
- Analyze data sources and documents the requirements in artefacts such as data flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams and user story.
- Identify data quality and data consistency issues
- Design the functional solution, translate business requirements into functional description and define the conceptual and logical data model
- Define data processing and cleaning rules
- Apply the use of required data modelling and analysis tools, methods and standards, like data dictionary, data lineage, source to target mapping.
- Manages the requirements through the project, including managing changes to the requirements
- Proficient in SDLC (Planned Iterative, Agile)
- Good spoken and written English language skills
- Basic understanding of programming languages
- Basic knowledge of big data technologies
- Good knowledge of SQL and API protocols
- Experience in large international projects working with multicultural teams
- Experience working onshore, offshore, nearshore and on site with co-located and distributed teams
