Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific project requirements or managing the entire product lifecycle. The role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to effectively support clients and project teams. Collaboration with different stakeholders and adapting to evolving project needs are integral parts of the daily routine, ensuring that software solutions align with business objectives and deliver value throughout the development process.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva Vault.
- Strong experience in software configuration and customization within regulated environments.
- Ability to analyze complex system requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable software.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Veeva Vault.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
