We are looking for a Business Development Representative that will handle the following :
• Perform outbound calls to potential and current customers
• Close sales and meet monthly sales goals in accordance with development plan
• Qualify customers' sales potential and plan activities to increase book of business
• Analyze relevant customers for targeted sales campaigns and build a work plan to increase sales
• Communicate closely with trade and cross-functional teams on market intelligence, service updates, customer challenges and opportunities
• Manage the sales process with potential and existing customers to maximize short and long term results
• Build, maintain and manage relationships with customers in the assigned portfolio
• Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell to existing customers
• Enter and update customer information in the database
• Follow and use sales best practice and tools
• Monitor and report sales goals/targets/KPIs in line with company’s objectives
• Forecast sales activities and set personal/company goals accordingly
RequirementsYou will need to have :You will need to have :
• 1 to 2 years tele-sales and or sales experience in the ocean shipping or related industry.
• Good Communication in English / Local Languages
• Minimum Graduate
