Serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and BI/IT teams by translating requirements into analytics solutions. Defines KPIs, guides Power BI and SQL development, validates data and dashboards, coordinates UAT, supports governance and standardization, trains users, and drives adoption of business intelligence tools. Partners with Sales, Finance, Delivery, and Operations leaders to deliver actionable insights and measurable business outcomes.
Looking for a dynamic Business Analyst (BA) to join our Business Intelligence & Analytics team. This is an exciting internal opportunity for someone who wants to be at the intersection of Business and IT, playing a crucial role in converting business vision into actionable analytics solutions.
The role requires a strong mix of business understanding, analytical mindset, and technical acumen, with working knowledge of internal tools (SAP, SQL, Oracle, Power BI) to effectively guide and support our BI development team.
- Act as a bridge between Business and the Data IT team to ensure successful BI delivery.
- Transform complex data into actionable insights that enable better decision-making.
- Partner with function leaders and management teams to define business needs and key metrics.
- Support data standardization, governance practices, and quality validation.
- Drive adoption and value realization from BI dashboards and analytics solutions.
- Build a strong understanding of our business, routes to market, competition, and growth opportunities.
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for the BI/IT team.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Delivery, and Operations teams to define KPIs and success measures.
- Guide Power BI developers and SQL engineers with business context, data logic, and validation.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, intuitive dashboards and insights that drive measurable outcomes.
- Coordinate UAT, data validation, and gap analysis.
- Lead adoption efforts by training business users and embedding BI in decision-making.
- Continuously contribute to improving BI delivery processes and governance.
- 5+ years’ experience as a BA, Data Analytics or related fields.
- Strong understanding of SAP and Power BI and ability to review dashboards and provide constructive input.
- Good proficiency in SQL for data analysis and guidance on backend logic.
- Experience in Python is a plus.
- Proven stakeholder management skills with ability to engage senior business leaders.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with agile/scrum delivery approaches is an advantage.
