Act as liaison between business and technical teams to gather and document requirements, analyze processes and data, create process maps, user stories, and dashboards, support project management and QA, and facilitate stakeholder workshops to drive improvement and automation.
The Business Analyst will serve as a bridge between the business and technical teams, working to identify business requirements and translating them into actionable solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a passion for solving complex business problems, and experience with process improvement and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, goals, and objectives.
- Analyze business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement or automation.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Work with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Create detailed process maps, user stories, and use cases to clearly define business needs.
- Develop and present reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with business leaders to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Support project management activities, including scope definition, timeline estimation, and risk management.
- Assist in quality assurance testing by reviewing functional specifications and validating that deliverables meet business requirements.
- Continuously evaluate industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., process mapping, requirement gathering, use case modeling).
- Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, or similar enterprise software.
- Knowledge of business process modeling and BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) or basic automation tools is a bonus.
