Requires enterprise-scale data governance experience and hands-on expertise with Fabric administration, OneLake, Purview, Power BI, and security controls.
Primary skills: MS Fabric, ADF, Python, SQL, Data Migration Key Responsibilities A holistic process for the Fabric environment is required, covering data security, data administration, access rights, environment hygiene, security jobs, and monitoring of the overall Fabric environment. • Refine and implement data policies; define and enforce the governance process. • Manage access control / access rights; keep the Fabric environment clean and compliant. • Capacity monitoring and job monitoring for Fabric. • Create and run jobs for data security, capacity usage, etc • Produce ops dashboards and alerting. Refine and enforce data governance policies and maintain workspace/environment hygiene across all Fabric components. Manage access control (RBAC, RLS, OLS, sensitivity labels) and ensure compliance with security standards. Monitor Fabric capacity, job execution, and environment health; set up proactive alerting. Automate governance, security, and maintenance tasks using APIs, scripts, and notebooks. Develop and maintain operational dashboards and compliance reports for stakeholders. Qualifications Min 5 years of exp in Data governance for any hyperscaler. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data governance (including OneLake, Purview, and Power BI). Experience in data governance implementation at enterprises level and operational reporting Proficiency in Fabric administration, access management, and security controls.
