Job Opening — Benefits & Authorization Specialist
Department: RCM Experience: Fresher / 2–3 Years Shift: 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM IST (Night)
Roles & Responsibilities
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits via payer portals or calls
• Obtain prior authorizations for procedures, surgeries, and diagnostic services
• Document authorization details and reference numbers accurately in the system
• Follow up on pending authorizations and renewals to prevent claim denials
• Coordinate with billing and clinical teams for timely processing
Required Skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Basic computer proficiency — MS Office, typing speed
• Knowledge of medical terminology or prior RCM experience is a plus
Education
• Any Graduate — B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, or life sciences background preferred
Shift & Other Requirements
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM IST (mandatory)
• 5-day working week with rotational week-offs
• Candidates must be willing to work night shifts consistently
