Overview of Role:We're seeking a passionate and talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. You'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.

Hours: ~45 hours per week

Engagement Type: Contract
- Upgrade, develop, and test software applications using Java, React
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of 66degrees solutions.
- Contribute to all phases of the application modernization lifecycle
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code and troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Work across time zones, as needed, to meet the needs of our clients and collaborate with offshore teams as part of a dispersed global team.
- 5+ years of experience in developing cloud-native applications.
- 5+ Experience in both front-end and back-end development as a fullstack engineer.
- 5+ Expertise in Java and React
- Experience developing applications on the Google Cloud Platform suite of products and services (nice to have).
- Experience using large enterprise CI/CD pipelines to comply with enterprise standards.
- Background in professional services / consulting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience using generative AI coding assist tools.
- Eagerness to work in a teamwork/collaborative environment.
