Consultants in this role get to: Be the point of contact: Probe for sources of income and help the customer. Find ways to work together with this end goal in mind. Goals are often set which require a first part collections agent to make a specified number of calls or reach an average payment size or dollar amount collected. Negotiate a payment date of the customer’s debt. Maintain the best customer experience possible achieving the collection goals. Assist consumers with a high level of customer service in a variety of areas such as general customer servicing inquiries, calling on delinquent accounts to get the account back in good standing, negotiating payment schedules or conveying applicable offers, and adherence to all scripts, regulatory guidelines and procedures. Define Sutherland reputation: Delivering an experience to every customer, meeting Credito Real’s service standards. Consistently deliver: Achieve all agreed KPI’s. Work pro-actively to ensure potential issues are escalated appropriately.
QualificationsOur most successful candidates will have: - English proficiency language skills (maintain an English conversation, be able to read and write in English) - Negotiation Skills - Collection Skills - Ability to work positively in a fast-paced, changing environment - Ability to multitask and have excellent organizational skills - Ability to build rapport and to show empathy - Effective communication skills - Working knowledge of PC Environment - Comfort and familiarity with desktop tools - High School Diploma (is required. Bachelor’s degree is a plus) - Experience working in a customer-centric environment is a plus - Experience working in finances related field is a plus - Experience working in collections is a plus
