About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Software Delivery Lead to drive end-to-end program delivery, manage cross-functional technical teams, and ensure high-quality, timely outcomes for business-critical initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of delivery management, technical depth, and stakeholder leadership, with experience in digital transformation, cloud, and data-driven programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery Leadership:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple complex software programs across domains.
- Ensure timely execution, governance, and quality outcomes across parallel projects.
- Own program/project P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Technical & Program Management:
- Provide technical guidance to teams on architecture, tools, and best practices (.NET, Cloud, Microservices, APIs, Data/AI solutions).
- Drive adoption of modern SDLC practices including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and QA engineering.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
- Stakeholder & Client Engagement:
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Collaborate with presales and solutioning teams on proposals, RFP responses, and solution roadmaps.
- Deliver regular program updates, manage risks/issues, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Team & People Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across geographies.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct hiring, training, and performance management for delivery teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–15 years of experience in IT delivery, program management, or software engineering leadership.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale technical programs across industries such as BFSI, Fintech, Telecom, Retail, or Digital Platforms.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), modern architectures (Microservices, APIs), and emerging tech (AI/ML, Analytics, RPA).
- Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Rally, Confluence).
- Strong financial management (budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
- PMP/CSM/SAFe Agile or equivalent certifications preferred.
