Synopsis of the role:

The Business Analyst – Products is responsible for supporting the Product Life Cycle across our Credit Bureau and data solution offerings. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Analytics, and Business Development teams, the candidate will analyze market needs, define detailed functional specifications, translate business requirements into actionable product features, and ensure seamless delivery. The key objective is to help buildunique, data-driven credit and decisioning products that keep our portfolio competitive in the market and drive sustainable revenue growth.

What you’ll do

● Gather, analyze, and document business, technical, and functional requirements for new and existing Credit

Bureau product offerings.

● Translate business needs into user stories, functional specification documents (FSDs), workflow diagrams,

and acceptance criteria for engineering and development teams.

● Support the end-to-end Product Life Cycle, including product feature prioritization, user acceptance testing

(UAT), and release management.

● Monitor product performance, data accuracy, and feature adoption post-launch to identify enhancement

opportunities.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Data Science, Compliance, Legal, and Operations) to ensure

timely, compliant product execution.

● Provide support on operational items to Product Managers to ensure smooth daily product execution and

issue resolution.

● Ensure all product constructs and workflow designs strictly comply with regulatory directives and industry

standards.

● Assist Product Managers in building collateral, product documentation, FAQs, and training materials for

internal sales and client support teams.

● Engage with sales and client-facing teams to review client feedback, troubleshoot product issues, and refine

product workflows.

● Monitor financial performance and metrics to assist the business in reaching its commercial goals.

● Evaluate, establish, and cultivate strategic product alliances to expand market presence and accelerate top-

line expansion.

● Collaborate with international product groups to integrate global industry insights and best practices.

What experience you need

● 0–1 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Analyst, preferably within Credit

Bureaus, Fintech, Banking, or Financial Services (BFSI).

● Proven track record in gathering requirements, creating user stories, mapping data flows, and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

● Strong understanding of retail lending products, credit underwriting, credit scoring models, or API integrations.

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; MBA orprofessional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum) are an added advantage.

● Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence,AHA, Visio).

● Exceptional written and oral communication competencies, with a proven aptitude for comprehensive documentation and cross-functional partner alignment.

● Demonstrated capability to articulate intricate workflows clearly and collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary business units.

● Adept at managing diverse concurrent initiatives across various phases of implementation.

● Prior experience with credit bureau data feeds, bureau pull APIs, decision engines, or fraud/risk management tools.
