Job Purpose: Executive - Design supports the design and construction management of commercial spaces within the airport, assisting with the development of design concepts, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion of design-related tasks. This role focuses on executing design plans, maintaining documentation, and contributing to the overall quality and compliance of commercial space projects.
Responsibilities
Design Execution Support:
Assist in implementing design plans by liaising between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that design execution aligns with project requirements. Tranlate design concepts into actionable plans, including detailed drawings, specifications and material requirements.
Ensure designs are executed according to approved specifications and project timelines
Track progress of design tasks and support stakeholders in overcoming any obstacles that may impact timelines.
Quality Control and Assurance:
Assist in conducting quality checks on design deliverables to ensure they meet established standards and requirements.
Ensure that all design projects are executed in accorance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Support in addressing and resolving design discrepancies and technical issues.
Project Coordination:
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of design tasks and resolution of issues.
Help manage the workflow of design-related tasks and track progress against project timelines.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with applicable local and international statutory norms, regulations, and building codes throughout the design and implementation phases.
Maintain documentation and records to demonstrate adherence to legal requirements and industry standards.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain and organize design-related documentation, including CAD drawings, design revisions, and project reports. Clearly document any changes and revisions in design documents for stakeholder reference and compliance.
Prepare and update reports on design progress, issues, and changes for internal review.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with airport operators, project teams, and regulatory compliance teams to ensure design plans align with operational needs, project integration, and adherence to regulations.
Engage with regulatory bodies, architects, design consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance, integrate expert input, and accurately execute design plans.

Qualifications
Education Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3-4 years of progressive experience in architectural design, interior design, or project management, with a focus on commercial spaces within airport terminals or similar large-scale public environments.
