Role Purpose

The Associate Financial Analyst plays a key role within the GSC FBP team, partnering with GSC Leadership, Regional FBPs, and business stakeholders to support financial planning, reporting, workforce governance, and performance management. The role is responsible for delivering insightful financial analysis, ensuring data integrity, and driving standardization across budgeting, forecasting, cost governance, and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end Monthly Report (MR) preparation, including GL analysis, variance reporting, stakeholder commentary, and financial performance reviews.

  • Support annual budgeting, Rolling Forecast (RoFo), and monthly forecasting activities across GSC functions.

  • Monitor and govern SG&A costs, workforce costs, FTE movements, and position-related financial reporting.

  • Analyse financial performance, identify key cost drivers, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.

  • Review and validate GL postings, account mappings, cost allocations, and cost center structures to ensure reporting accuracy.

  • Perform account reconciliations, reclassifications, and month-end financial controls.

  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, presentations, and leadership updates.

  • Support workforce planning, position governance, and cost allocation activities.

  • Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardisation of FP&A reporting and governance processes.

  • Process Improvement and Automation Mindset

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or management reporting.

  • Experience working with large datasets, financial systems, and reporting tools.

  • Experience in multinational organizations or shared service environments is preferred.
