Associate – Finance Operations

In this role, you will work closely with Finance, Sales, Sales Operations, Product, and Engineering to ensure accurate account provisioning, billing, usage tracking, and revenue operations across 1,300+ customers and a high volume of trial accounts.

The role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with large datasets and systems, and the ability to translate commercial contracts into accurate billing and operational inputs. You will also play a key role in strengthening controls and building scalable, repeatable processes.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role suited to someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, contracts, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Own the end-to-end setup, modification, and maintenance of customer accounts on the CleverTap dashboard.

• Create trial accounts for prospects and provision plans, add-ons, and other commercial configurations for existing customers.

• Manage and close SFDC cases within the defined 24-hour resolution SLA.

• Test commercial and billing modules for new product and feature launches to ensure accurate billability and a seamless customer experience.

• Calculate MAU overages and ensure timely charging for credit-card customers.

• Track email and WhatsApp usage overages, notify customers, and ensure charges are raised and collected on time.

• Conduct due diligence on closed-won contracts and order forms, identifying billing-relevant commercial terms and ensuring accurate handover to invoicing and systems teams.

• Validate IACV calculations and ensure alignment with signed contracts and previously agreed ACV.

• Perform regular reconciliations to identify and resolve billing or revenue discrepancies.

• Prepare and circulate the monthly C4S report to the C4S team.

• Prepare monthly data-usage reports covering MAU, data points, containers, MME, and other relevant metrics for the Billing team.

• Publish the monthly self-serve report.

• Maintain accurate operational data and support ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.

• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to investigate and resolve dashboard and billing-module issues.

• Support Sales and Sales Operations with dashboard queries, overage calculations, and invoice-related questions for credit-card customers.

• Work cross-functionally to resolve open items within agreed timelines.

• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, keeping a strong customer-first approach.

• Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• 3–6 years of experience in finance operations, revenue operations, billing, order-to-cash, or a similar function.

• Experience in the SaaS or technology industry is strongly preferred.

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills, including lookups, pivot tables, large-data handling, and reconciliation.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with demonstrated accuracy in high-volume, deadline-driven environments.

• Ability to read commercial contracts and order forms and extract billing-relevant terms.

• Strong understanding of operational controls, reconciliations, and process discipline.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and senior internal stakeholders.

• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively across functions.
