Assistant Vice President, Regulatory Reporting and Data Governance, Transformation and Data

Job Purpose:

To establish, strengthen, and govern the Bank's regulatory reporting data governance framework by ensuring data quality, data ownership, data lineage, controls, and governance standards across critical regulatory data elements. The role is responsible for driving enterprise-wide data governance initiatives that enable accurate, timely, and compliant regulatory reporting to RBI.

Key accountabilities:

1. Lead Data Governance for Regulatory Reporting.
2. Drive Enterprise Data Quality Management.
3. Enable Regulatory Reporting Transformation.
4. Regulatory Data Oversight & Compliance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Define and enhance Data Governance Framework for regulatory reporting.
2. Establish governance mechanisms for Critical Data Elements and controls.
3. Lead enterprise-wide Data Quality Management initiatives and sDQI improvement.
4. Collaborate with business, risk, finance, operations, technology and compliance teams.
5. Govern reporting transformation and automation initiatives.
6. Assess impact of RBI circulars and guidelines on governance and reporting.
7. Lead governance reviews of new regulatory returns.
8. Coordinate RBI data requests and regulatory inspection.

Requirements:

1. 8-15 years in Banking Data Management, Data Governance or Regulatory Reporting.
2. Strong understanding of Data Ownership, Data Quality and Lineage.
3. Experience implementing enterprise governance initiatives.
4. Experience managing regulatory audits and assessments.
5. Strong stakeholder management skills.
