Job Description

Candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), leveraging broad knowledge and extensive domain experience within Oracle Cloud EPM and PCMCS in particular. As an individual contributor, he will collaborate with a global Finance team and technical team, demonstrating how to effectively integrate Oracle EPM technologies to deliver significant business impact. This role involves working closely with Finance Team and counter parts from IT. The candidate will also maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this position is the design and development of Profitability and Cost Management (PCM) applications. Key tasks include:

  • Managing direct integrations with ERP GL and other EPM applications.
  • Conducting detailed assessments of allocation requirements, metadata setup, and building appropriate rules and rule sets.
  • Should have knowledge on Calculation Manager (Business Rules) which does calculation for all types of data output especially “Groovy Pattern.”
  • Implementing and developing artifacts for Oracle PCM, including allocation models, metadata creation/updates, calculation and allocation rules setup, web form design and report/dashboard creation.
  • Experienced with solution design and delivery of multiple allocation requirements in a diversified organisation for multiple drivers and step / tiered allocations
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of financial statements, the financial close cycle including allocations, and related best practices.
  • Creating consolidated financial statements for stakeholders.
  • Serving as an SME, applying independent judgment to guide moderately complex business solution implementations, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

Essential Skills

Qualify for this role, the candidate must have:

  • 3+ years of EPM/PCM experience in areas such as administration, design, analysis, development, and support for various EPM and PCM products.
  • Experience in Requirement Gathering & Solution Design for PCM.
  • Hands-on experience configuring rules and rule sets in PCM.
  • Minimum one full cycle implementation of EPM-PCM module for all allocation requirements of a multi-entity organisation
  • Data management skills in EPM for creating data load rules, mappings, and data loading processes.
  • Functional knowledge of the Chart of Accounts and the allocations process.
  • Ability to independently identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues proactively.

Personal Attributes

  • Approachable and flexible in work, with availability to cover UK hours.
  • Strong understanding of Finance processes and FP&A and allocation processes in particular.

Preferred Skills

  • Expertise in Oracle EPM applications. Prior experience with finance modules is a plus.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Oracle EPM, preferably PCM and PBCS, both functionally and technically.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Applications and other modules in EPM Suite (PBCS, FCCS),
