Job Summary
We are looking for a Manual Test Engineer with 2.5 to 7 years of experience in testing enterprise applications, preferably in the Trade Finance domain.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of manual testing processes, API testing, test case design, defect management, and banking/trade finance workflows.
The role involves validating complex trade transactions, ensuring functional correctness, performing integration testing, and supporting regression/UAT activities across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, BRDs, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing.
- Validate Trade Finance workflows and transactions.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman
- Validate request/response payloads, headers, authentication, and business rules.
- Log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and QA reviews.
- Prepare test execution reports and status updates.
- Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.
