Impact &contribution:
As an Advanced Analytics Analyst at ASB, you will be part of the Measurement & Monitoring Chapter, supporting the Personal Banking Product Governance team. In this role, you will transform data into meaningful business impact by delivering actionable insights, building compelling dashboards, and enabling data-driven decision-making, while ensuring reliable data pipelines and strong stakeholder engagement.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Ad-hoc analysis, Product Review, Model validation and ILM metrics
Assist business teams by analysing product reviews, model validation, and ILM metrics. Turn business questions into data queries and deliver clear, actionable insights. - Develop and maintain Tableau and Power BI dashboards
Build new dashboards and update existing ones to meet changing stakeholder needs. - Manage SQL scheduling processes and stored procedures (SPs)
Oversee and maintain scheduled SQL jobs to keep data pipelines running smoothly. Use alert systems (like email notifications) to spot failures, find root causes, and fix issues to ensure data reliability. - Support stakeholder requests and reporting needs
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements, clarify business needs, and provide timely outputs that help with decision-making. - Work Timings: 5.30am – 2.30pm (IST)
Essential skills:
4+ years of experience
- Stakeholder Communication: Demonstrates strong ability to engage with stakeholders, ask relevant questions, and communicate insights in a clear, business-friendly manner.
- SQL & Data Engineering Skills: Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, troubleshooting data issues, and working with data pipelines. Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms is advantageous.
- Data Visualization (Tableau & Power BI): Skilled in building and maintaining dashboards, structuring data for reporting, and designing impactful visualisations that effectively communicate insights.
- Attention to Detail & Ownership: Ensures high levels of accuracy, consistency, and reliability across data, reports, and processes, with strong ownership of deliverables.
- Insight Generation: Ability to translate analytical findings into meaningful, actionable business insights that drive decision-making.
- Statistical & Machine Learning Knowledge: Possesses working knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning techniques to support analytical use cases.
- AI & Regulatory Awareness: Identifies opportunities to leverage AI and analytics while ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology with 4+ years of experience.
