The Accountant will manage accounting functions, ensure compliance, handle financial reporting, and support audits while meeting deadlines.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting functions, ensure statutory compliance, and support financial decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling the complete books of accounts and meeting critical deadlines.
1. Core Responsibilities (Must-Have)
- Finalization of accounts including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement
- Independently manage complete books of accounts
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
2. Taxation & Compliance (Strong Requirement)
- Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and reconciliations)
- Manage TDS calculations, returns, and compliance
- Basic understanding of income tax and coordination with external Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Monitor and ensure adherence to statutory deadlines and regulatory requirements
3. Software & Technical Expertise
- Strong working knowledge of Tally
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and Microsoft Word
- Preparation of MIS reports for management review
- Basic budgeting and variance analysis
- Experience in payroll processing
- Provide support during internal and statutory audits

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Relevant experience in accounting and compliance roles (mid to senior level)
- CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred (not mandatory)
Note: Candidates with hands-on experience in compliance, reconciliations, and independent account handling will be given preference.
