As a 3M Paper & Print Sales Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
· Meeting or exceeding the designated sales quota in your defined sales territory
· Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve defined sales targets and business objectives within the assigned territory
· Partnering with local and national channel teams to execute growth initiatives, strategies, and programs
· Engage with key customers, channel partners, and industry key influencers to develop and execute the local business growth plan
· Developing end-user customer relationships and applications to drive growth of the Paper & Print portfolio
· Recommends specific portfolio needs to the local market and executes
new product introductions
· Promote and implement marketing activities aligned with the Paper & Print objectives
· Providing key market and customer insights to Global, Area, and local organizations
· Represent the Paper & Print Business Unit in all customer and distributor interactions, ensuring consistent and professional engagement
· Effectively and consistently managing your opportunity pipeline in CRM, while conducting strategic planning for new opportunities and regular business reviews for key markets and end-user customers in the region
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
- Five year (5) years or more of exceptional sales or equivalent experience, in a private, public, government or military environment
- Three (3) years of Flexographic Printing or Printing Industry experience
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience articulating value propositions and system-selling.
- Understanding of flexographic printing processes (printer experience a +).
- Experience developing and managing key accounts.
- Experience developing and managing a large geographic territory.
- Product demonstration experience and competence.
- Strong track record of collaboration and cross-functional teamwork.
