Plan, coordinate, execute, commission, and hand over large-scale UPS projects for data centers, industrial facilities, and IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include project scheduling, installation oversight, vendor and stakeholder coordination, commissioning and site acceptance testing, customer training, documentation, risk mitigation, compliance, and business development support.

Lead global manufacturing projects from concept to production release, coordinating prototyping, pilot runs, supply chain and capacity planning, DFM feedback, equipment/tool deployment, cost and quality optimization, and NPDI deliverable tracking across cross-functional teams.

Own factory P&L, cost closure, hourly-rate analysis, plant KPIs, productivity savings, vendor rates, headcount analysis, budgets, forecasts, and MIS. Support Oracle ERP transactions, cost accounting, audits, internal controls, and operational improvement initiatives. Partner closely with plant leadership, operations, procurement, and continuous-improvement teams to identify cost drivers, explain variances, and improve manufacturing performance.

Ensures mechanical quality compliance throughout assembly and fabrication processes. Inspects assemblies, structures, enclosures, busbars, and accessories against drawings, specifications, tolerances, and quality plans. Verifies structural integrity, IP protection, clearance and creepage, mechanical interlocks, and torque requirements. Oversees final quality checks and pre-packing or dispatch inspections.

Ensures electrical quality compliance throughout assembly of low-voltage switchgear panels. Verifies wiring, terminations, connections, component placement, and assembly checkpoints against approved schematics and quality plans. Conducts electrical testing and functional inspections, enforces quality gates, coordinates resolution of non-conformances, maintains test equipment calibration, and documents results while escalating out-of-specification findings.

Lead development of skid concepts and power module architectures, create and review 2D/3D layouts, coordinate multidisciplinary design (electrical/mechanical), perform site surveys and constructability assessments, support equipment integration (MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, busducts), coordinate with suppliers/OEMs, support fabrication/FAT, and drive costing, standardization, and installation/commissioning activities.

Design and develop skid concepts and power module architectures; produce 2D/3D layouts; coordinate multidisciplinary integration of electrical and mechanical systems; support equipment selection (MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, busducts), site surveys, supplier alignment, fabrication/FAT, installation, commissioning, costing, and value-engineering.

Manages procurement workflows, ERP data integrity, inventory across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, and continuous improvement initiatives. Implements global programs involving Kinaxis Maestro and inventory management, resolves operational bottlenecks, and helps balance stock availability with carrying costs. Requires expertise in ERP and procurement platforms, Excel, Power BI, inventory valuation, ABC classification, plant-floor inventory logic, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional communication.

Provides rapid design support for production issues, manages the lifecycle of engineered-to-order busbar designs, and improves manufacturability, safety, quality, and efficiency. Coordinates cross-functional design improvements, supports supply chain constraints and new product development, and ensures design quality before production release. The role requires mechanical engineering expertise in product design, 3D modeling, 2D drafting, sheet metal, and copper design.

Design and develop sheet metal enclosures for power UPS applications, including 3D models, manufacturing drawings, prototypes, and design documentation. Collaborate with electrical and manufacturing teams, support pilot production and shopfloor issues, visit suppliers and plants, perform structural validation, optimize materials and costs, and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Lead and sustain Lean/5S and Kaizen initiatives, drive cost-savings and finance governance, support VOS deployment, implement daily Tier accountability and reporting, and deliver training for continuous improvement across operations.

Lead supplier quality for sheet metal, electronics, and other components through audits, PPAP/FAI, SCAR/8D problem solving, process control, statistical analysis, and supplier improvement initiatives. Interface with engineering, operations, and plants to reduce warranty and quality costs, and support ISO 9001 QMS.

Lead supplier quality for components and assemblies through supplier audits, PPAP/FAI, SCAR/8D problem solving, SPC and statistical tools, corrective actions, supplier performance improvement, and cross-functional coordination to reduce warranty and quality costs.

Lead on-site deployment of automated production lines, integrating OT devices and Ignition/Power Apps for tablet-based SOPs, validate DES/Yamazumi models, commission equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ), integrate smart tooling and IoT into MES/ERP, and lead hyper-care and cross-functional alignment during vertical startups.

Lead supplier quality activities including audits, PPAP/FAI, root-cause analysis (8D/SCAR), process control improvement, statistical process control, supplier performance reporting, and on-site corrective actions to reduce costs, warranty claims, and improve supplier quality.

Lead manufacturing process design for power and thermal products, bridging R&D and production. Drive NPI, Yamazumi line balancing, high-fidelity discrete event simulation, DFM/DFA, virtual commissioning, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Manage and mentor engineers, align global design centers with plant operations, and validate manufacturing equipment to achieve right-first-time launches and optimized throughput.

Lead supplier quality improvement and audits for components and assemblies. Drive PPAP/APQP, root cause analysis, SCARs, corrective actions, supplier audits, and cross-functional resolution. Monitor supplier performance, support ISO 9001 QMS, report metrics, and visit suppliers and plants to ensure production readiness and continuous improvement.

Improves manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality. Develops quality procedures, leads engineering projects, supports production troubleshooting, applies Lean principles, manages equipment, analyzes production data, maintains documentation, trains staff, and supports safety compliance.

Investigate, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities in embedded and gateway firmware. Perform security analysis of firmware packages, update mechanisms, and exposed interfaces; support secure boot, firmware signing, threat modeling, SBOM management, compliance with product cybersecurity standards, and collaborate with firmware, QA, and compliance teams to embed security-by-design.

Perform validation and verification of distributed control system software. Create test plans, test cases, and test environments; execute tests; debug and document issues; report defects and status; collaborate with engineering and product teams; maintain test hardware and automation.
