Provides technical presales support to sales teams by qualifying opportunities, delivering product demonstrations and presentations, conducting technical proofs of concept, managing validation events and assets, preparing RFP/RFI responses, supporting bill-of-materials creation, and assisting with partner training. The role requires an IT-related associate degree, one to three years of relevant experience, clear communication, adaptability, and the ability to learn new systems and technologies.

Supports sales and channel teams by gathering prospect requirements, mapping solutions, delivering technical demonstrations, preparing proposals, bills of materials, RFP responses, and scopes of work. Leads technical discussions with suppliers, validates solution design and sizing, develops cross-solution bundles, mentors presales staff, and supports sales-to-delivery handoffs. Requires knowledge of infrastructure, networking, security, analytics, IoT, vendor products, and IT distribution or systems integration.

Processes complex and mega-deal sales and purchase orders, validates supporting documentation, resolves system errors, coordinates order status with vendors, and provides delivery information to logistics teams. The role also supports backlog reduction, process improvement, manager inquiries, and mentoring of team members while ensuring orders are completed accurately within service-level agreements.
