The role includes API, UI, integration, and end-to-end testing; defect investigation; reducing flaky tests; supporting release qualification; driving shift-left quality practices; and collaborating with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to prevent customer-reported issues.

Designs and executes comprehensive QA strategies, builds scalable automated test frameworks, expands regression coverage, and integrates testing into CI/CD pipelines. Uses Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-powered tools for test generation, defect detection, and QA efficiency. Troubleshoots defects, reduces flaky tests, supports release qualification, drives shift-left testing, analyzes production issues, and collaborates with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams.

Build and operate scalable backend and distributed systems in cloud environments. Own software problems from design through deployment, improve architecture, reliability, automation, and observability, and contribute to engineering excellence and mentorship. The role involves microservices, API gateways, event streaming, container orchestration, DevOps, CI/CD, and debugging production systems. Bonus experience includes agentic AI applications, LLM frameworks, MCP servers, and startup product development.
