Leads an embedded government unit supporting AI-enabled agriculture, evidence-based policy, digital technology deployment, and farmer services across Maharashtra. Responsibilities include stakeholder and funder management, program delivery, monitoring and evaluation, grants and contracts, partner coordination, team leadership, and operational knowledge management. The role requires managing complex government programs, translating evidence for policymakers, and traveling regularly between Mumbai, Pune, and district offices.

Leads the design, testing, documentation, and scaling of weather data pipelines that convert scientific forecasts into timely, location-specific farmer messages. Oversees data quality, automated processing, system replication across geographies and dissemination channels, technical requirements, and stakeholder coordination. Translates between forecast science, engineering, research, and program teams while guiding staff and contributing to funding proposals and institutional knowledge management.
